Following in the footsteps of father Stephen, Ian (they/them/theirs) began volunteering at the Pennington Public Library in 2015. Ian’s experience as a volunteer at PPL helped them secure a position as a Library Assistant at Bucks County Community College in 2016. Ian has now come full circle, utilizing their newfound skills and experience as PPL’s Administrative Assistant starting in 2018. Ian took over the duties of Volunteer Coordinator when beloved colleague Tara Russell moved to North Carolina in 2021. Growing up in Pennington and graduating from Hopewell Valley Central High School, Ian is also a trained Western Classical Singer and local-area Church Musician. Ian is responsible for processing new library materials, handling administrative tasks such as Interlibrary Loan, and assisting at the front desk as needed.
