Workshop Description
This class is for participants who have completed a GAB 1 course. GAB 2 continues the GAB writing process using in-class activities and new weekly themes to continue writing your memoirs. As in GAB 1, participants will share their weekly two-page vignettes in small groups in an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement.

What is Guided Autobiography?
Guided Autobiography was developed 40+ years ago by James Birren Ph.D., founding dean of the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology and founding director of the Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center. A pioneer in gerontology research, his work is carried on through the Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies, which trains instructors worldwide.

About the Instructor
Julie Feibush’s career has spanned professional writing, research, and editing in many forms. With a background in social service and healthcare organizations, Julie specialized in program development and grants management. Now, as a certified Guided Autobiography instructor, Julie turns her lifelong interest in the craft of writing towards helping others cultivate their own writing practice through guided autobiography.
