Workshop Description
This class is for participants who have completed a GAB 1 course. GAB 2 continues the GAB writing process using in-class activities and new weekly themes to continue writing your memoirs. As in GAB 1, participants will share their weekly two-page vignettes in small groups in an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement.
What is Guided Autobiography?
Guided Autobiography was developed 40+ years ago by James Birren Ph.D., founding dean of the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology and founding director of the Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center. A pioneer in gerontology research, his work is carried on through the Birren Center for Autobiographical Studies, which trains instructors worldwide.
