Aberger Memorial Collection
The Aberger Collection is an on-going collection of European Literature and other select titles funded by donations made in memory of long-time Pennington resident, Peter Aberger. The collection began in 2011 and has over fifty books. It continues to be developed with the help of Peter’s wife, Julie Aberger. The books in the collection have a nameplate indicating that they are donated in loving memory of our dear friend, Peter Aberger.
Children’s “By Subject” Collection
Our Children’s Subject Access Collection includes picture books geared toward readers ages 6 and under, and are organized by popular subjects using color coded labels, as follows:
Celebrations (Yellow Labels)
These picture books are about holidays and special events.
Things That Go (Orange Labels)
Picture books about trucks, trains, buses, bikes and all manner of things that go!
Concepts (Blue Labels)
This section has books designed to introduce young children to basic ideas, such as ABCs, numbers, shapes, colors, time and opposites.
Film Movement Series
A collection of over 80 foreign and independent award-winning films. Many films were juried in festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Venice Film Festival and more.
New Jersey Collection
Located in the New Jersey Room, the New Jersey collection contains historical books about the state of New Jersey in general and of the Hopewell Valley Region and Central New Jersey in particular.
