The Pennington Public Library was founded in 1876 to provide reading material to the Community. For over 100 years, the Library has fulfilled that mission. After 119 years, in 1995, the Library moved to its present location in the Borough Hall.
Our Commitment to You
Pennington Public Library proudly ensures value to its patrons by providing an array of services including children's, adult and teen books, paperbacks, magazines, newspapers, movies and audio books. Additionally the Library has public access computers and free WiFi for patron use.
Library cards are free to all residents of Pennington Borough, Hopewell Township and owners and employees of businesses in Pennington. Library cards for all others is $10 annually.

2009 New Jersey State Tax Forms The New Jersey Division of Taxation is not distributing New Jersey Tax Forms to Public libraries for the 2009 tax year. If you wish to obtain forms, call the New Jersey Division of Taxation at 1-800-323-4400, visit their website or stop by the Library for assistance with their website or click here to download a copy of the NJ-1040 form for 2009 (State of New Jersey Income Tax -Resident Return) in PDF format.
PPL Announces 'Sustainable Sundays' Movie Series In a February 16, 2010 Press Release, the Library announced the presentation of award-winning environmental documentaries in a series of four warm mid-afternoon community get-togethers. Check the Special Events page for more information.
