Movies from the inter-county library collection– 2 days, $1.00 fee for every day late. Movies from the Library’s collection – free for 2 days or rent up to one week for a fee of $1.00.  (late fee of $1.00 per day otherwise will apply)

The Pennington Public Library was founded in 1876 to provide reading material to the community. For over 100 years the Library has fulfilled that mission. In 1995, the Library moved to its present location in the New Borough Hall. Membership is free to all residents of Pennington Borough, Hopewell Township and owners and employees of businesses in Pennington. For all others, there is a membership fee of $10 per year.

Fines
The fine for all materials except video tapes is $0.05 per day that the Library is open. (The Book drop is always available.) The fine for video tapes is $1 per day. Videos and Recorded Books may not be placed in the Book Drop.

Book Sales
In May, the Library participates in Pennington Day with a large book sale.

Volunteers
Do you enjoy books, movies, magazines and people who share these interests? If so then we need you!!! Maintaining a 125-year-old Pennington Borough tradition, we need volunteers to work weekly or bi-weekly at our circulation desk in 2-hour shifts.
