The Pennington Public
Library was founded in 1876 to provide reading material to the
Community. For over 100 years, the Library has fulfilled that
mission. After 119 years, in 1995, the Library moved to its
present location in the Borough Hall.

$4.299 Million was restored in the New Jersey Budget for
library programs!
Whether you were someone who:
* filled out one of the over 80,000 orange library support postcards,
* sent one of over 60,000 emails to legislators and the governor about
supporting the library,
* sent a letter to a legislator or the governor,
* phoned a legislator's office,
* or, did all of the above,
Your voice made a difference. The staffs of all the New Jersey libraries
genuinely appreciate your efforts.
Delivery of materials between libraries will continue for this budget
year. Also, access to the EBSCO databases that many residents and
student rely on will continue.

Our Commitment to You
Pennington Public Library proudly
ensures value to its patrons by providing an array of services including
children's, adult and teen books, paperbacks, magazines, newspapers,
movies and audio books. Additionally the Library has public access
computers and free WiFi for patron use.
Library cards are free to all residents of
Pennington Borough, Hopewell Township and owners and employees of
businesses in Pennington. Library cards for all others is $10
annually.
